Milan and the expo center
The Residence Rho Fiera offers modern apartments just 600 meters from the New Expo center in Rho-Pero, the largest in Europe, designed by architect Massimiliano Fuksas; 700 thousand square meters that bring 5 million visitors and retailers to Milan each year.
Some events worth mentioning are the prestigious Furniture expo which opens its doors to more than 2000 exhibitors during the month of April as the undisputed sector event, SMAU, the event dedicated to new computer and communications technologies, Photoshow, the professional photography and imaging expo and the Crafts fair which opens at the beginning of December at Fieramilano, less than 5 km from our residence.

Every modern art and design lover is thrilled by the Triennale in the Sempione park Art Palazzo in Milan, an expo center which includes a theater that seats 1,200, a restaurant with a garden terrace and a few ateliers managed by the worthiest artists. Since its first edition in 1933, the Triennale has won acclaim by showing the works of innovative masters like Giorgio De Chirico, Mario Sironi and Carlo Carrà.

Walking down Via Montenapoleone or Via della Spiga makes you realize why Milan is considered the fashion capital; each year its ateliers churn out the extraordinary creations that adorn the international runways giving you the chance to do some truly exclusive shopping in its luxurious boutiques. Milan by night
Finding something to do after work in Milan is easy. If you're in the Brera quarter, don't miss out on one of the restaurants which, along with those in the Sempione area, serve quality meals with excellent service. When in the Navigli, take in the atmosphere of its jazz clubs and hot spots that are meant to entertain you until the wee hours of the morning. In Corso Como, you can't pass up one of the discos where celebrities, soccer players and beautiful women dance the night away while the renovated Isola quarter is home to the most surprising and innovative night clubs in the city.
Milan and its historic district
Milan is home to inestimable artistic assets that make this city one of the capitals of European culture. The modern art exhibits at the Rotonda della Besana, the Brera art gallery and Palazzo Reale are accompanied by the permanent exhibits of Tiepolo, Canova and Leonardo da Vinci's masterpieces; The Museum of Science and Technology is dedicated to the latter while his “Last Supper” fresco adorns the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent. You can also admire the impressive and majestic Gothic style Duomo and, just a few feet away, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the jet set and cultural parlor of Milan, with its bookstores and elegant cafes.
How to reach us
By train. From Milan's Central Station, take the red subway line to the Rho/Fieramilano stop; from here, take the bus and get off at the first stop near Via Grandi, where you will find the Residence Rho Fiera at number 5.
By plane. The Malpensa and Linate airports are about 40 kilometers away. From Malpensa, take the Malpensa Express train or Malpensa Shuttle bus to the Milan Central Station; from here, continue as described in ‘By train’. From Linate, take the Starfly bus departing every 30 minutes for Milan's Central Station; from here, continue as described in ‘By train’. As an alternative, you can book the shuttle service from the residence (at a fee).
By car. From the A4 or A8 highways, take the 'Fieramilano' exit. At the first round about, follow the directions for the 'Fiera'. Turn right at the first cross road which is Via Grandi. The Residence Rho Fiera is at number 5.
